This is what happens when the train travels for 12 hours in a snow storm. What you can't appreciate is the fine blowing snow that billows through the cracks in the doors. Crazy :)

I just have to record somewhere that tonight I've done guided meditation with an anxious teenage patient and had the "birds and the bees" talk with another patient. All I can think of is that Martin Anderson would be proud of me.

Hallo.
It's been a nice holiday and an eventful year. I'm looking forward to the next one. With any luck, there will be trips to Switzerland, Vancouver, Japan, Colorado and California... there will be fishing and working and training and reading and playing with pups...

I just had a crazy thought.
I think the reason I own so much clothing is so that I don't have to do laundry as often. It's not like I really wear that much of it. There's a lot of it that I don't even like.
As a matter of fact, I just compressed most of what I like about my wardrobe into one small suitcase. (Well, minus sweatshirts and sweaters... but I'm going to Boston, those will be practical). At least that much is getting given away.
